Our Story this week is A Flower In the Snow by Tracey Corderoy and Sophie Allsopp.  Luna live in an igloo and Bear lived in a snow cave in Luna's little garden where, one bright day, something most unusual popped up.  It was a flower a dancing  yellow flower! How pretty it is, thought Bear.  Then, carefully, he picked it for someone special.
For our craft this week we are creating a special picture of snowflakes.  We love to sing songs and share our week with each other.
This months Every Child Ready to Read theme is vocabulary.  Knowing the words.  As you talk to your child they will learning new words.  Take a few minutes to read to your child every day.  Studies show that a child who reads does very well in school.
Remember story time at the Keene Library is at 10 a.m. Tuesdays. See you then.
